you have a very sweet, illustrative thing going on here. it's nice that she has such weight and solidness to her, she looks very much like she is sitting and it is a convincing rendering. the background and lighting are appropriate and consistent. the bench is kind of slap-dash, the angle and slats look strange. other wise, this looks like a good beginning for a comic book or series of illustrations to acompany a story.

I really like the posture of her sitting.

Wonderful illustration in a beautiful and appealing style. I like the contrast between the joviality of the background and her seemingly melancholy mood. I can actually feel the weight of her emotion. Very nice job.

What thingie do you use to do it in? (Like...photoshop or whatever)
:iconmirthconfusion:
photoshop when i'm using a mac and this great program called OpenCanvas when i'm on PC. OpenCanvas kind of simulates oil paint.
